A vacation like no other! We stayed here May 2017 with three adults and three kids (all boys ages 6, 10 and 15). None of us were ever bored. It was the most relaxing vacation we've ever had. We drove our truck down each day packed with coolers and beach supplies, parked in front of the house and easily walked back and forth to the house during the day. You truly are much closer to the beach than the photos appear. The younger kids enjoyed playing the Wii, board games and looking through the telescope. Actually, we all enjoyed that! We walked the beach morning and evening looking for shells; there are tons! We saw dolphins and horses daily and even saw a fox one day! The house has everything you need! Beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, kites, sand toys, movies, books, games, etc. If you are looking for a place to get away from it all and truly reconnect with your family this is the place! I'm already trying to plan a trip back, when the fishing is better. We didn't have much luck fishing the week we went. I hear that fishing is wonderful in the area certain times a year. Oh and we can't forget the popcorn maker and foosball table which were huge hits!

What a great vacation! We had three adults and three kids (6, 10 and 15 all boys). Our boys never got bored for one minute! The teenager walked out on the beach each morning to fish while the younger ones played board games and the wii until it was time for the beach. The owners have really thought of it all. Kites, boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs, movies, books, games, popcorn maker, wii, ice maker, the list goes on. We drove our truck to the beach each day and parked in front of the house. It's a quick walk over the dune back to the house to grab whatever and head back out. The separate den for the children was amazing. We saw horses and dolphins daily and even a fox one day! The younger boys and I walked the beach searching for shells (there are tons!) each day while everyone else fished. Honestly, I can't think of a better vacation or place to spend it. If the fishing was a little better the week we went we would be back in a heartbeat!

Wow! We were very impressed with Dolphin Watch. From booking with Karen at the property management firm to the time we walked into the house, it was a very smooth transaction. The house is great! It was clean, well stocked, the view is amazing, the wild horses came almost daily right into our yard, the hot tub was phenomenal, the short walk to the beach is perfect and being on the 4wd beach is amazing! There were 2 couples that stayed in the house and there was plenty of room for more. Having the Wii on our rain day was fun, lots of movies to choose from as well. The wifi worked great, having a second "kitchen" area was great for more storage of food and the popcorn maker is a great hit. Each couple basically had their own floor to chill on, if need be. There was really no reason to leave the house and the beach. We stocked up on food and beverages (for the tiki bar) before we arrived! We did order pizza our last night, just so they could deliver to us in the 4wd area - little pricey and not the best pizza but we still ate it :)The beds were comfortable, the showers were hot, the linens were clean, having beach chairs at the house is great and having gas or charcoal grill choice was nice. We did go into town and bought a kite - and then we found the ones at the house after that. Oh well, it was still fun to fly a kite at 45 years old!! We walked the beach daily, we collected shells, we went into the VA side of the beach and could see the shipwreck from shore. Seriously, we will be back, maybe with the kids next time. The house had everything, we have no complaints - oh except it rained one day 🙂
